Spring Board Meeting

1. Call to order

President Ruth Negley called the meeting to order at 4:50 p.m

3. Appointment of Parliamentarian

      Scott Aikey was appointed Parliamentarian

4. President’s report

President Negley referred to her written report. She highlighted several of her activites including her attendance at a career symposium at the State Capitol Building in Harrisburg, and articles written for both the ASCLS and ASCLS-PA newsletters.

5. Secretary’s Report/Approval of minutes, Winter board meeting, January 28, 2006

Some corrections were made to the minutes of the winter board meeting.

MOTION 1:  Made by Barbara Snyderman, seconded by Michelle LaChance.

I move that the ASCLS-PA Board of Directors approve the minutes of the Winter Board meeting dated January 28, 2006 as corrected. Motion carried.                         

6. Treasurer’s report

The Treasurer’s report was deferred to the House of Delegates

MOTION 2:  Made by Barbara Snyderman, seconded by Judy Hoover.

I move that the ASCLS-PA Board of Directors adjourn the Spring Board Meeting.  Motion carried.

The meeting was adjourned at 5:00 pm.
