| You can now earn up to 10 hours of continuing education credit, applicable toward recertification, by documentation of activities in a professional society. That means if you've been involved as a meeting organizer for your chapter, a member of your chapter's Board of Directors, a committee member, or an officer on the state Board, you can ask your chapter/state president to write a letter documenting that service, and get 5 hours of credit for each activity, up to a maximum of 10 hours. Since 36 total hours of CE credit are required every 3 years, having your service count is a wonderful affirmation of its importance toward your professional development! |
