ASCLS Omicron Sigma Award

The Omicron Sigma Award is the ASCLS President's Honor Roll for Outstanding Service.  It was implemented in 1977 to provide a lasting recognition of the abiding interest expressed by members who have volunteered their personal resources, time and energy to the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science.

The recognition is presented annually and is given on three levels: State (nominated by State Presidents), Regional (nominated by Regional Directors), and National (nominated by the ASCLS President).  This provides the state Presidents, Regional Directors and ASCLS Officers the opportunity to recognize members of their constituent society for outstanding service.
